Arrest Announced In Payne Death

In Pauld­ing County, a man has been arrested in con­nec­tion with the death of a Payne man. 26 year old Andrew Mar­tin of Payne, was charged with ille­gal man­u­fac­ture of drugs and cor­rupt­ing another with drugs… both felonies. Martin’s arrest fol­lows the dis­cov­ery of 50 year old Cary Par­son of Payne, dead in his kitchen on Sat­ur­day. Inves­ti­ga­tors say they believe Mar­tin pro­vided a con­trolled sub­stance that he man­u­fac­tured to Par­sons, which con­tributed to Par­sons’ death. Offi­cials say more charges will be con­sid­ered by the pros­e­cut­ing attor­ney as the case moves forward.
