ASHLEY MAN CHARGED

A man from Ash­ley has been charged in Steuben County with felony bat­tery to a child younger than 14.

27 year old Danny L. Squier Jr. was arrested Thurs­day after­noon and held with­out bond at the county jail pend­ing a court appear­ance.

Squier’s arrest came fol­low­ing a six-week inves­ti­ga­tion by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, St. Joseph County sheriff’s depart­ment and Divi­sion of Child Ser­vices, the Steuben County Divi­sion of Child Ser­vices and by Angola police.
