Ashley Man Headed To Prison

An Ash­ley man was sen­tenced to four years behind bars on Mon­day in Steuben Cir­cuit Court after he entered a guilty plea to a Class C felony of Oper­at­ing a Motor Vehi­cle after a Life­time Sus­pen­sion. Arthur James Moore was charged in con­nec­tion with an inci­dent in March of 2014. He could have got­ten as much as six years in prison. A sec­ond charge of Oper­at­ing While Intox­i­cated was dis­missed by pros­e­cu­tors as part of the plea deal. Also, Moore was given credit for 166 days already served. If he qual­i­fies, Moore will be able to serve his time in Com­mu­nity Corrections.
