A skid loader that catches fire at an aluminum recycling plant in Kendallville leaves a man suffering from burns. Firefighters were called to Aluminum Recovery Technologies on Production Road. When crews arrived, emergency medical responders were already treating the man who had been operating the skid loader when it caught fire. He was then taken to a hospital in Fort Wayne. His condition is unknown. The blaze was quickly put out and the scene was cleared within a few hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
