Although no details have yet been released publicly, we have information today that indicates that The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has an active investigation underway in Bryan. The Bryan Times reports that an ATF spokesperson confirmed it on Wednesday morning, and it involves a Bryan resident. Bryan Police reportedly handled the initial complaint, in which a person was accused of stealing some $40,000 worth of guns and ammunition from his employer, a hunting outfitter based in Michigan, then allegedly selling some of the stolen items to the Tri-State Swap Shop. So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation is building.
