A Bryan res­i­dent is wak­ing up this morn­ing behind bars at CCNO. Bryan Police say that on Tues­day night, just before mid­night, they arrested 57 year old Lynn Rupp of Wal­nut Street in Bryan. Rupp was charged for vio­lat­ing a Tem­po­rary Pro­tec­tion Order.

The Gen­eral Motors Foun­da­tion announced that it has donated a total of $25,000 to three non­profit orga­ni­za­tions in the Defi­ance com­mu­nity through the Plant City Grants pro­gram. The U.S. Depart­ment of Labor recently awarded Trade Adjust­ment Assis­tance Com­mu­nity Col­lege and Career Train­ing grants to sixty-six com­mu­nity col­leges across the nation.
