Band director at Edgerton resigns.

Zachary Hines’ resignation request as band director at Edgerton Local Schools is accepted during the board of education meeting. The resignation will be effective Jan. 1 and the position is currently being advertised by the district. In other business, the Board purchase of a new oven in the lunch room was approved for $9,900 dollars, officials confirm. A bid ad for a new press box at the stadium will be posted from Thursday to Dec. 29. The anticipated completion date for the project is Aug. 23. The board also accepted a donation from the Edgerton Area Foundation in the amount of $6,689 dollars for a book vending machine.
