Barbara Bishop, 91

Barbara A. Bishop, age 91, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 2:45 P.M. on Friday, October 10, 2014, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center under the care of Community Health Professionals Hospice Care. She was a graduate of St. Charles High School in Coldwater, Michigan, and attended the Commercial Art Institute in Chicago. During her work career she worked as a travel agent in Florida and with Triple A in Bryan and she also worked for the Williams County Clerk of Courts for many years. Barbara enjoyed traveling and playing cards with friends, was an excellent seamstress and loved collecting hats of all kinds. She was especially devoted to her church family at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Barbara A. Bishop was born on March 6, 1923, in Coldwater, Michigan, the daughter of Charles T. and Jessie M. (Hall) Bishop. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bishop, an infant brother, Robert Bishop, one sister, Audrey Baggerly, and a nephew, Thomas Joseph Baggerly.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Reverend James Halleron officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be held in the church for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday.
