Barn In Kunkle Burns

Fire destroys a storage barn on Maple St. in Kunkle. Officials tell reporters the building is a total loss. No injuries were reported in the blaze. Smoke could be seen for miles as crews arrived. They coordinate their efforts and the flames are out in a few minutes. Another building nearby got scorched, as the wind whipped fire spread sparks around. Damage to that structure is light. Montpelier, Pioneer, West Unity and Alvordton fire departments helped out in the operation.
