Brandi Berry, a former part-time bookkeeper, pleads guilty to the theft of more than $100,000 from the church school that employed her. A March grand jury indictment alleges that she stole funds from St. John Lutheran School from 2016 to 2018. They say she also forged several checks as part of the scheme. The maximum penalty is three years in prison.
