BEWARE OF FRAUDULANT CHECKS IN THE AREA

Mid­west Com­mu­nity Fed­eral Credit Union says four new accounts have been opened with fraud­u­lent checks. All of the newly opened accounts were opened with new Ohio non dri­ver IDs and fraud­u­lent pay­roll checks from known local busi­nesses.
The checks were drawn off of Chase and Bank of Amer­ica and were payable for amounts rang­ing from $1,698.72 to $2,141.52.
