Big Fire In Angola

It was quite a scene. Two people are safe after jumping off the roof of their burning home near Angola on West U.S. 20, west of I-69, near the Tri-State Steuben Airport. Crews at the blaze found heavy fire and smoke coming from the second floor of the home. Fire units were driven back by the intense heat from the wind driven blaze. They exited the structure and knocked down the fire from outside. It took crews about an hour to get the fire under control. Two people suffered minor injuries. The cause is under investigation.
