Big Rig And Car Tangle In DC

In Defiance County…a man is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a big rig crash at the intersection of Highway 24 and Independence Road. Officials tell reporters Teddy Ramey, of Sherwood, was northbound on Independence…when he failed to yield the right of way. He was hit by a semi, eastbound on the 24. On impact, the big rig crossed the median, hitting a fence. Ramey was taken to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Traffic was tied up for a time. The crash is under investigation.
