A tractor trailer fire on U.S. 24 in Henry County shuts down traffic for more than two hours. A vehicle carrier was in flames…in the eastbound lanes…officials tell reporters…the cab of the truck was saved. The trailer was destroyed and vehicles on it…damaged. Napoleon Fire was called to the scene…along with at the fire teams from Ridgeville Township and Florida-Flatrock Township. The Ohio Department of Transportation closed the 24 in Defiance County…to allow for mitigation of the scene. Traffic in the eastbound lanes was opened back up some time later. The investigation into the crash continues by both state and local officials.
