Blaze Handled In Auburn

A fire in Auburn causes heavy damage to a residence on State Route 8. Crews arrived to find the two story house with heavy flames coming from the second floor and rear of the home. No one was inside. The home’s owner had already escaped. Firefighters brought the blaze under control in about 20 minutes and remained on scene to mop up. The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Auburn Fire Department.
