This Monday played out similarly to last Monday for the Edgerton Fire Department, which responded to another house fire with a skeleton crew. They head out to the blaze on N. Elm St. It started in the bedroom, officials say. Some sort of accident. Damage is estimated at around 50 thousand dollars. Because the roster at Edgerton Fire is light these days…crews from other area fire departments were called in for the assist. When the fire team arrives…the blaze was well involved at that point, officials say. It takes some time…but they get the best of the fire…under investigation at this hour. The Red Cross is helping out the residents. No injuries reported.
