Blood Donations Needed

The Red Cross is ask­ing for your help. They are des­per­ately in need of blood donors.

The Amer­i­can Red Cross of Henry County will hold a Henry County South Joint Ambu­lance blood drive at the Sum­mer­fest build­ing in Ham­ler on Sat­ur­day from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Walk-ins are wel­come, how­ever you can also sched­ule an appoint­ment by call­ing 800-RED-CROSS.

All blood types are needed.

The Red Cross says if you are 17 years of age or older, 16 with parental con­sent, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in gen­er­ally good health, you most likely will be eli­gi­ble to donate blood.
