Bryan Municipal Utilities is celebrating Public Power Week, Oct. 5–11, along with more than 2,000 other community-owned electric utilities across the U.S. that provide electricity on a not-for-profit basis.

BMU line workers will demonstrate their climbing and line working skills, and kids will have the opportunity to try on line worker gear and to generate electricity peddling an energy bike. In addition, there will be chances to win prizes, and BMU will serve up hot dogs from the grill and refreshments.
