BOTTLE BOMB IN WEST UNITY

A small bot­tle bomb was found near a West Unity home this past week­end.

West Unity police say they found the sus­pi­cious item at 107 N. High St. on Sat­ur­day.

The North­west Ohio Bomb Squad was called in and after exam­in­ing the object, they deter­mined it did indeed con­tain a chem­i­cal bomb. The bomb squad set it off safely and no injuries were reported.
