Bridge Opening Next Month

Closed since February, the Clinton Street bridge in Defiance will not be open to the public by Thanksgiving, but it should be open in time for Christmas. ODOT and the city of Defiance have scheduled a bridge dedication for Monday, Dec. 2. The bridge project over the Maumee River comes to $8.3 million dollars. It has five-foot-wide bike lanes on each side of the span.
