Brown Resigns

The Central Local Board of Education accepts the resignation of a popular elementary school principal during their meeting. Sheryl Brown has served as Fairview Elementary School principal since 2017, and her resignation takes effect on July 31. Her resignation comes a month after Roger Zeedyk, a former school board member, spoke in her defense at the board’s April meeting. The Evergreen Local Schools Board of Education recently approved hiring Brown on a two-year administrative contract to serve as the elementary principal. The board approved her resignation with a 5-0 vote.
