Bryan Area Foundation Announces Grants

The Bryan Area Foun­da­tion announced Wednes­day, that appli­ca­tions for the 2014–2015 Grants Pro­gram are now avail­able to 501©(3) non­profit orga­ni­za­tions in the Bryan area.

The Foun­da­tion has nearly $300,000 avail­able for com­mu­nity grants.

Thou­sands of dol­lars of grant funds are awarded each year from des­ig­nated, orga­ni­za­tional endow­ment, donor advised funds, and schol­ar­ship funds, in addi­tion to the com­mu­nity grants.

The Foun­da­tion typ­i­cally favors projects which they see as being a ben­e­fit to youth activ­i­ties and the arts, or those which cre­ate a long-term phys­i­cal com­mu­nity resource.
