Bryan Council to loan money to renovate downtown building into apartments.

Bryan city council will loan a developer money to help renovate a downtown building into apartments. The renovations would be on the upstairs of the building at 113-115 S. Main St. The five apartments would be known as Fountain City Suites and be geared toward businesses in the area for short- or long-term stays. The funds come from the economic development revolving loan fund, which utilizes money provided by the Community Development Block Grant program.
