Bryan Foundation looking for “Good Citizen of the Year”

Nominations are now being accepted for the Bryan Area Foundation’s Good Citizen of the Year Award. Since 1980, the award has been used to recognize Bryan citizens who make a positive impact in the community and have helped make Bryan a great place to live. Jack Brace, President and CEO of the Bryan Area Foundation says the deadline for entries is February first, and the banquet, where the award will be given, is in May. To be selected Good Citizen of the Year, the nominee must be a Bryan resident for at least 20 years, be active in volunteer positions with organizations that serve Bryan, hold a leadership position on an area non-profit board, and be associated with at least one outstanding accomplishment in the community. Nomination forms are available at the Bryan Area Foundation on S. Walnut Street or their website, BryanAreaFoundation.org.
