BRYAN JUBILEE NEXT WEEK

For more than 65 years, The Bryan Jubilee has been held. This year it will return to the square on Tues­day for another five-day run.

The Bryan Times reports that return­ing to the Jubilee this year after a short hia­tus is the laser light show on Fri­day and Sat­ur­day.

New this year, local artist Dave Schumm will be draw­ing car­i­ca­tures of festival-goers on the mid­way.

Other enter­tain­ment includes a con­cert by the Bryan City Band on Wednes­day and Chris­t­ian band night Thurs­day.

There will be a karaoke con­test Fri­day, and the parade on Sat­ur­day.

Many pop­u­lar food stands are return­ing to the mid­way as well.
