Bryan Man Accused Of Rape

A Bryan man will be arraigned on Tues­day morn­ing on charges related to his alleged rape of a six year old girl. 40 year old William John­son JR, has a his­tory of vio­lent crimes. John­son is accused of rap­ing the young girl on or about April 12. The girl’s name and addi­tional details have been with­held. Charges against John­son include also take into account that John­son is already clas­si­fied as a sex­u­ally vio­lent preda­tor and that he is a repeat vio­lent offender.

If con­victed on all the charges fac­ing him, John­son could be sen­tenced to life behind bars with­out parole. John­son was con­victed in Bryan Court on domes­tic vio­lence charges in 1999 and 2000. He was also con­victed in Bryan on a 2001 assault charge and dis­or­derly con­duct cases from 2000 and 2014, accord­ing to the Bryan Times.
