Candlelight Vigil Held for Slain Perrysville Student

Friends and fam­ily held a can­dle­light vigil Sat­ur­day evening for 22-year-old Jonathan Krueger of Per­rys­burg. Krueger was a stu­dent at the Uni­ver­sity of Ken­tucky who was gunned down early Fri­day morn­ing in what police are call­ing a ran­dom act of vio­lence near the Lex­ing­ton cam­pus. He was taken to an area hos­pi­tal where he later died of his injuries. Police arrested two men in con­nec­tion with the crime.
