Car Chase Ends In Crash

A Butler man on a motorcycle flees a traffic stop and crashes without a helmet in DeKalb County. It all started at US Highway 6 and Interstate 69. The rider turns north onto County Road 24, that’s when he loses control and smashes into a mailbox. He was ejected from the motorcycle. The man sustained head trauma and was flown to an area hospital. The incident is still under investigation and possible charges are pending.
