Construction of a new splash pad at Defiance’s Bronson Park should begin shortly. City Council approved an emergency ordinance during a special meeting that allows a contract with Vortex USA for its construction. The cost is $356,985.

An RV manufacturer is going to expand its operations. Forest River will develop its properties in DeKalb County, creating up to 125 new jobs by 2019.
