March for Life observed Friday

The 8th annual March for Life was held in Defi­ance on Fri­day, with a large crowd gath­ered at the Defi­ance County Cour­t­house. The local March is held to coin­cide with the anniver­sary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court deci­sion in 1973 that made abor­tion legal in the states.

Former Napoleon Councilman resigned after harassment allegations

New infor­ma­tion released by the City of Napoleon states that for­mer coun­cil­man Jef­frey Mar­i­hugh was being inves­ti­gated for sex­ual harass­ment reported by three city employ­ees in Novem­ber.
