Edon Village Administrator Randy Mahlman has tendered his resignation. His last day on the job will be on Jan. 6. The Bryan Times reports Mahlman said he decided to resign in order to take a job as the water/wastewater supervisor for West Unity, where he currently lives and will be beginning that position on Jan. 9. Mahlman had spent two years as the administrator in Edon, having previously served as the administrator in West Unity. He was also three years into his first term as a West Unity village councilman before he resigned from that position earlier this month.
