The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio is showing a positive balance in its reserve fund at the end of 2016, despite financial pressure from the city of Toledo’s withdrawal from its partnership with CCNO. The Bryan Times reports CCNO Fiscal Manager Tonya Justus told board members Wednesday that $610,000 in the reserve account was applied to operating expenses, leaving a $160,000 balance. She added that if the city of Toledo pays its outstanding bill of around $1 million – which still remains an option, pending legal action – that would go into the reserve account as well.
