Cervantes Case Update

A Toledo man is arraigned in a Henry County courtroom for attempted murder. Raymond Cervantes, pled not guilty to that and a list of other charges. A pretrial hearing is now set for Sept. 21st. Prosecutors say Cervantes beat his girlfriend with a piece of wood and also attempted to strangle her on the night of Aug. 16, in Washington Township. In another case, he also is charged in Wood County for assault and abduction. Cervantes has pled not guilty to those charges and is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on that, coming up on Oct. 2nd.
