Chase through and around Angola Friday afternoon ends in the arrest of a Fremont man.

A chase through and around Angola Friday afternoon ended in the arrest of a Fremont man. In a press release from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a motorcycle for failure to display a license plate, on Golden Lake Road in Pleasant Township. In the attempt to make the traffic stop the motorcyclist fled, leading the sheriff’s office on a pursuit through and around Angola. The motorcyclist continued at high rates of speeds exiting city limits before going back into the city where they turned south on West Fox Lake Road from US 20. On the road, the suspect slowed down enough to allow deputies to box in the driver ending the pursuit. 19-year-old, Collin Green of Fremont was taken into custody without incident. During the search of the suspect following the arrest, deputies found suspected marijuana. Green was booked at Steuben County Jail, where he posted a cash bond and was released
