Christy Rd Fire Put Out

Crews take on a house fire on Christy Road. The blaze destroyed a detached garage and caused extensive damage to the home on the property. Firefighters remained on scene for nearly three hours. The Defiance, Delaware Township and Jewell fire departments also responded. They say someone playing with matches started the whole thing. The Red Cross is assisting in the case.
