City Looks Ahead For Employees

Bryan has entered into an agreement with SharedWork Ohio to help ease the impact of possible employee hours reductions. The agreement was approved at the city council meeting. The contract allows for those city employees, likely to see their hours reduced in the coming days, to seek unemployment benefits through the program while still working for the city. Williams County Commissioners took similar action at the county level last week. Roughly 83 City of Bryan employees are eligible to see reductions in hours between 20 and 40 percent.
