City of Bryan to apply for a state grant to help clear roads while being more environmentally friendly to state waterways.

The City of Bryan will be applying for a state grant to help clear roads while being more environmentally friendly to state waterways. Cities, townships, counties and other governmental agencies can apply for single grants of up to $75,000 dollars through the state’s H2Ohio program and its Chloride Reduction Grant Program. Williams County previously announced it was applying for funding for its salt barn. Officials say…the two new equipment purchases would provide extra insurance for future winter storms. The total cost for both pieces of equipment is estimated at $42,000. Ohio is making a total of $1 million dollars available across the state for the program. Applications are due by the end of the month.
