Civil Suit In Fatal Crash Case

A civil suit is filed in Defiance County…following a fatal crash this summer on Ohio 18 west of Defiance. Toledo attorney, Chad Tuschman files on behalf of the defendant, Marsha Seibert, of Sherwood. The defendants?…Joshua Shaffer, of Bryan; and Von Deylen Plumbing and Heating, Inc., of Napoleon. Seibert is in charge of the estate of Gerald Seibert…who died in a van-versus motorcycle crash on Aug. 24th, in Noble Township. We reported Shaffer was driving a van northbound on 18 when he pulled into the path of a westbound motorcycle, ridden by Gerald Seibert, causing a collision. Seibert was pronounced dead at the scene.
