Towns in the region, planning water quality improvement projects, may be eligible for grants from Ohio EPA, covering 100 percent of a project’s costs. The agency has issued a request for proposals, with applications due March 16. The funding comes from the federal Clean Water Act, which addresses pollution affecting lakes and streams. The Agency anticipates more than $2.5 million dollars in funding will be available to local governments, park districts and others.
