Clinton Street Bridge Work Continues

Workers will pour the concrete deck on the Clinton Street bridge in Defiance in one continuous 14-hour period, beginning late Friday. Great Lakes Construction Company of Hinckley is the contractor on the project that completely replaces the former two-lane bridge, carrying Ohio 15, 18 and 66 over the Maumee River in Defiance, with a four-lane bridge. Included in the work are pedestrian walkways, lookouts and other aesthetic features on the bridge, plus a pedestrian walkway and bikeway on the north side, underneath the span.
