Collins To Run In Hicksville

A new hat has been tossed into the ring for the job of mayor of Hicksville. Diane Collins announced that she wants the job.

The 57 year old Collins is now the clerk trea­surer in Hicksville, a posi­tion she has held for eight terms. Born in Hicksville, Collins is a grad­u­ate of Hicksville High School and North­west State Com­mu­nity Col­lege of Nurs­ing in Arch­bold.

She is a mem­ber of the Ohio Munic­i­pal Clerks Asso­ci­a­tion where she has served as a for­mer board mem­ber and past pres­i­dent, Inter­na­tional Insti­tute of Munic­i­pal Clerks where she was also as a past com­mit­tee mem­ber, and the Pub­lic Treasurer’s Asso­ci­a­tion. Collins and her hus­band Greg have three chil­dren and five grandchildren.
