In Williams County, a pair of issues will go before voters in the May ballot, one concerning Millcreek West Unity Local Schools and the other the Village of Montpelier. The schools’ 3.3-mill, 5-year substitute levy has been certified by the Williams County Board of Elections. If passed, the levy would generate $250,000 per year, by 2020. In Montpelier, the village is asking for renewal of a 0.3-percent income tax levy for maintenance of the sewage and storm drain system.
