Community Health Professionals of Bryan will hold groundbreaking ceremonies this afternoon at 1 p.m. for a 14,002-square-foot office building to be located at 1215 S. Portland St., next to the Bryan Senior Center. The over $2 million project is being initiated by Community Health Professionals, Inc., the agency’s nonprofit parent-corporation located in Van Wert, and will include staff offices, a large conference room, examination and clinic room, and a 1,000 sq. ft. therapy area. CHP was established as a corporation in 1975. In 1997, it acquired Hospice of Williams County, based in Burlington – which was the first agency to offer hospice services in Williams County through an office in Montpelier. CHP Home Care & Hospice provides in-home skilled nursing, hospice, therapy services, and private duty assistance.
