Continuance Granted In Noffsinger Trial

Well, that didn’t last long… The open­ing day of the aggra­vated mur­der trial of Steven Noff­singer of Defi­ance was cut short after addi­tional infor­ma­tion was dis­cov­ered. The trial of the 59 year old Noff­isinger was con­tin­ued on Tues­day fol­low­ing tes­ti­mony from a for­mer Pauld­ing County Sheriff’s deputy, which turned up addi­tional notes about the crime scene and orig­i­nal inves­ti­ga­tion that nei­ther the state nor defense knew about. Noff­singer is charged with aggra­vated mur­der in the 1981 death of his ex-wife, Alma Noffsinger.
