CRA Clears Hurdle

The Edgerton Village Council meets for four minutes, Tuesday evening…to approve the third reading of an ordinance to establish a Community Reinvestment Area within the village. Not all are on board…Edgerton Local Schools Superintendent Kermit Riehle stands opposed to residential tax abatements. The ordinance will provide a 12-year, 100% tax abatement for commercial/industrial renovations, valued at $5,000 dollars, or more.
