CRA Extended

The village of West Unity has updated its community reinvestment area and annexed a property into its limits. The village council has been discussing extending the CRA…which offers tax incentives for investing in real property improvements, since last year. They approved extending the CRA to include the entirety of the village limits after they successfully annexed nearly 6 acres of property into the village. The council had initially put a hold on the village-wide CRA in order to reach out to property owners in the village’s outskirts to see if it would incentivize them to come into the village.
