Crash blamed on OVI, Montpelier man charged

A 33-year-old Mont­pe­lier man crashed yes­ter­day morn­ing and the Sheriff’s Depart­ment say the man was intox­i­cated. Jimenez Sanchez crashed into a util­ity pole and his car landed on it’s top at County Road P50 and 8. He left the scene but vol­un­tar­ily returned. Sanchez was arrested and charged withOVI. He was then released on his own recognizance.
