Crash On 69

Authorities in Dekalb County say the wind was to blame for a crash on I-69. They say…Justin O’Reilly, 36, was heading south on I-69…when a strong gust of wind blew his trailer which was unloaded. The wind gust caused him to hit a guard rail on the east side of the roadway…near the 338-mile marker of I-69 in DeKalb County. The big rig then spun around and hit the trailer. The whole thing then came to a rest on the west side of the roadway….blocking the lane. O’Reilly complained of neck and shoulder pain and was taken to an area hospital. Southbound traffic resumed following the cleanup. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department handled the call. State and local investigators are handling the case.
