Crash Takes Life Of Pioneer Man

A man from Pio­neer died Fri­day morn­ing in a two-vehicle crash in Williams County.

The Ohio High­way Patrol says it hap­pened just after 8 Fri­day morn­ing on Ohio 15 in Jef­fer­son Town­ship, when 19 year old Joshua Tay­lor was head­ing north on 15, and his Chevy Sil­ver­ado went out of con­trol, crossed the cen­ter line, and slammed head-on into a vehi­cle dri­ven by 75 year old Louis Hard­ing of Pio­neer.

Tay­lor wasn’t hurt, but Hard­ing was pro­nounced dead at the scene of that crash. Accord­ing to police, Tay­lor was wear­ing a seat belt, but Hard­ing was not buck­led up.

The crash remains under investigation.
