Crews Fix Main Break

A water line break in Defiance gets crews to work. It flooded front yards and interrupted service to a number of homes for several hours, but was soon repaired. Officials say a 12-inch cast iron line broke at Ottawa and Karnes avenues. Much of the water receded after city crews were summoned to the scene and stopped the leakage. City crews dug a hole at Karnes and Ottawa avenues to make the repair.
